Our audacious beginning
Working in the spa industry, something you hear almost daily is “I wish I could take this place home with me”. Mobile massage is wonderful, but the ambience of a spa and the extra luxuries that come with it bring another level of bliss and relaxation. It seemed overambitious and superfluous to attempt to pack up all the decor, materials, products, and tools that make a massage into a luxury experience, then set up a spa in someone’s home, and pack everything back up gracefully and efficiently. Luckily, we had the audacity to be ambitious and we value excessive extravagance. Now, no one has to wish they could take the spa home with them. We will bring the spa to you.
Actualizing the vision
After deciding it could be done, the next challenge was how to do it. Running a successful spa takes many hands behind the scenes keeping things going smoothly, and it did not seem practical to bring an entire back of house staff. On the other hand, attempting to set up and manage an entire mobile spa with only one person could not be sustainable long term. After extensive brainstorming, many dry runs, constant problem solving, and consistent refusal to give up, we had created a system to actualize the vision.

Who better to execute the task of bringing a spa into someone’s home than people who have been both long time enjoyers and employees of a variety of different spas? Every person who contributes to the building and operating of this company has unique backgrounds and experience working to keep a spa running. Over a decade of witnessing the small details that elevate guest experiences, subtle mistakes to avoid, strategies to simplify back of house systems, and how companies that prioritize uplifting the staff consistently provide the highest quality service to guests, laid the foundation for what became Soaring Spa.
